About Al

Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Jewish Humor Central

After a long career as a program manager at IBM, Al Kustanowitz combined a lifelong passion for entertainment, television history, Jewish humor, and popular culture into a series of engaging multimedia programs that have entertained audiences throughout the country. Every program combines carefully researched history with professionally produced PowerPoint slides, rare video clips, and audience interaction — creating an experience that's equal parts lecture and live show.

Al is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Jewish Humor Central, one of the internet's longest-running daily Jewish humor websites, and the author of eleven books on Jewish humor and entertainment. He is now booking programs for the 2026–2027 season across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
